I gave a shot at doing a color orchid tattoo.

Few days later my mom was gifted a beautiful orchid flower, same color. They are absolutely magnificent in person.

You have done a great job. make sure that you use the highest sunblock outside, as the pink and yellow will fade to nothing if you suntan it.

Thank you i will keep that in mind and let her know. The placement on her hip hopefully wont get too much sun, but when beach season comes along it will be a different story.

after 3 months in the sun one can have as much as 50% fade. and to have it redone... more money, and on top of that, there is a limit to what the skin can take. some tattoos that have been reworked a few times feel like plastic. Sometimes they don't function as skin, no sweat , weird cysts etc.

Eww..

I tattooed the shit out of my foot, and since then my skin hurts randomly. its been years since I did it. But it is extra sensitive and I can feel the tattoo sitting on top. Is this something strange, or a common occurance?
